“ I've been here twice. They have a good farm shop. The cafe is clean and tidy. The staff are friendly. I tried the small breakfast very nice. I will be back . ”
“ Great little cafe in a small beautiful village right next to our campsite. Also sell locally produced foods. Amazing cakes. ”
“ Absolutely love The Cow Shed. Staff are so lovely, it's so clean and the atmosphere is lovely and cosy. Food and drinks are delicious. The vegan cake I had was one of the best I've ever tasted. ”
“ Stopped here for a late lunch. Lovely relaxed environment. Super friendly service. Lovely food and yummy cake. Great value for money and dog friendly too. Chutney was very tasty. ”
“ We went as a group of 6 including a lady in a wheelchair. They were really kind and helpful, the food was served quickly although they were busy and was hot, plentiful and tasty. A pot of tea for "one" was a pot big enough to get four and a half large cups out of and even I, who is renowned for emptying teapots couldn't drink it all! Overall a brilliant experience which I would recommend to anyone. As a bonus there is a farm shop about fifty yards down the carpark owned by the same people serving very fresh fruit and veg. Check for opening times as it's not open every day. ”
“ Today ( February 3rd 2023), having enjoyed a number of breakfasts here, we tried lunch. Word has obviously got round as to how good the place is: it was busy but we found a table for four and sat back expecting a long wait. Within minutes, the drinks were brought to our table and the meal itself arrived shortly after. Each meal was simple but tasty and well presented. The bacon and ham were particularly good. We left, having had lunch and a drink for under 10 a head. We enjoyed an excellent breakfast and excellent prices to boot. I really can't fault the staff here. They are wonderful. Whilst there we visited the shop. I omit the word 'farm' as this usually entails a hefty price increase but everything here was very well priced (in line with supermarket prices and sometimes less) and there was a huge range of things on offer, not the usual farm shop toot but stuff you really might want to buy. To add the icing on the cake, every member of staff was a credit to the establishment. Give it a go, soon. ”
“ Great place to eat and have a coffee with friends or family. The food selection and quality was good and came out to our table promptly. You have to order at the counter when you arrive, if it is busy, you may get a seat upstairs. The atmosphere and decor are great. There is a couple of shops on the site too, namely a farm shop with great quality produce and home made cakes, well worth a visit. ”
“ This is a great little cafe. I started going a couple of years ago, whenever I was down visiting my parents. Today I went with my Mum and 2 year old niece. The food was good, and a decent plateful. The kiddie's platter was great for my niece. ”
